Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 And Vitpilen 250 Get New Color Schemes |Motoroids

Husqvarna has given a fresh lease of life to their 250cc range of Svartpilen and Vitpilen motorcycles with stylish new colourways. The Svartpilen ‘Black Arrow’ now comes with a black-blue colour in a matte finish is complemented by beige grey seat cowls and The Vitpilen ‘White Arrow’ now sports a matte-finish ceramic white colour, which is complemented by glossy, dark silver metallic seat cowls. Both the motorcycles are priced at Rs 2.2 lakhs ex-showroom India.

The 250 cc machines feature a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder 4-stroke DOHC motor which is borrowed from the KTM Duke 250 and produces a max power of 29.63 bhp at 9000 rpm and a max torque of 24 Nm at 7500 rpm. Both motorcycles have a unique Scandinavian design language that is understated, minimalist, and elegant. The Svartpilen 250 has a more rugged design and upright stance and also comes with dual-purpose tyres. The Vitpilen 250 has a sportier design, a set of road-biased tyres from MRF, clip-on handlebars, and a front lean riding position. The Svartpilen 250 also has 8-spoked alloys while the Vitpilen 250 gets 5-spoke units. The bikes come with LED Headlights and tail light, a strong and lightweight steel trellis frame, high-quality WP APEX suspension with upside-down forks, Bosch Dual Channel ABS system and Robust 17” cast aluminium wheels. The braking setup is also the same as the KTM Duke 250, both the Svartpilen and the Vitpilen get 320mm disc brakes up front, coupled with 240mm disc at the rear. With a kerb weight of 166kg, both bikes have a top speed of 145 km/h which makes them one of the fastest and most powerful in the 250-cc segment.
